The LifeLike Cervix Disc Biopsy Model is a realistic cervical tissue simulator developed for practising cervical biopsy, Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP) and related OB-GYN procedural skills. Its compact disc format provides realistic tactile feedback for hands-on training, demonstration and competency assessment.
About the Cervix Disc Biopsy Model
Designed to replicate the properties of cervical tissue, this LifeLike model allows learners to develop cervical biopsy and LEEP procedural skills in a controlled, repeatable training environment before working in clinical practice.
Each model is a 1.6-inch diameter disc measuring 16 mm thick. The tissue is easy to handle, ready for use and suitable for individual practice, skills laboratories, instructor-led workshops and structured assessment.
Developed in partnership with Rice University, the model is compatible with the LUCIA training model. It can also be secured in the adjustable LifeLike Cervix Disc Base for improved stability during training.
